New Clients Welcome!

Hospital Policies

For the convenience and safety of our patrons, we have a few policies in place to facilitate efficient organization and time management. We have discovered through experience that these policies allow us to meet appointments on time, and keep our patients safe and comfortable.

Appointment Policy

Although AM/PM Animal Hospital is an emergency clinic, which can accommodate immediate and serious health crises without an appointment, we do ask that for routine wellness visits, or any other non-emergency situation, appointments be made in advance.

Please call us at 512-448-2676 to coordinate an appointment time that works for your schedule. We offer extended evening hours plus Saturday and Sunday availability for your convenience.

If your pet is in need of emergency care, we ask that you still attempt to call us before your arrive to our facility so we can prepare for immediate service, even if this means calling on your way out the door.

Patient Arrival Policy

For the safety and comfort of all clients and patients, we require that all pets be either leashed or crated while in the waiting room. No matter how well-trained or well-behaved, we find that this policy is in the best interest of all parties involved.

If you suspect your pet may have an infectious disease that could spread to other animals, such as kennel cough, please let us know in advance so we can make special arrangements. Calling us beforehand or upon arrival, prior to entering the building, is helpful to our staff as they can then plan appropriately.

Payment Policy

We accept cash, credit, debit cards, all major credit cards, and CareCredit. Our policy is that all payments must be made in full at the time services are rendered. We are happy to provide cost estimates in advance to help you to plan for the expense.

In addition, please note that many pet insurance providers operate on a reimbursement model, so even if you do have pet insurance, it is best to assume you will still be providing the full payment on the day of the appointment. We recommend that you contact your insurance provider for specific policies.
